Studies show that virtual physiotherapy is just as effective as in-person treatments - likely because practicing virtually forces clinicians to focus on our most effective clinical tools: education and exercise.

During virtual appointments, you and your physiotherapist will be able to see and talk to each other. All your appointment time is spent one-on-one with your clinician. Your clinician can watch you do movements, assess the setup of your home, discuss options for equipment and lifestyle changes that might help you out, and teach you new strategies to help you improve your health. Almost all types of treatment we offer in person can also be offered virtually. At the end of your appointment, you will have the option to pay using your health benefits, and/or a credit card or e-transfer.

For virtual services, we use secure and encrypted video software that complies with HIPAA and PIPEDA (health privacy legislation).

After booking a virtual appointment, you’ll receive a link to your appointment in an email. When you click on the link at your appointment time, you’ll be connected to your physiotherapist. You will need to log into your appointment using a device that has a camera and microphone, such as a smartphone, tablet or computer.
